Eiffel Tower was inaugurated in March 1889 and considered as the tallest structure in the world, which standing about 300 meters tall. although there are a lot of skyscrapers that come after this tower but it is no doubt that Eiffel is still one of the most beautiful and impressive structures in the world. For that reason, this symbol of Paris has attracted over 235 million visitors since it was built in the 19th century.
It was convinced by French engineer, Gustavo Eiffel during a competition to create an impressive monument for the upcoming World's Fair hosted in Paris. After competing with other engineers and selected as the winner, Eiffel’s construction took place between 1887 until 1889.
Since it has been the most popular tourists attraction in Paris, the Eiffel Tower has been depicted in art, cinema, music and merchandise. Its unique design and undeniable charm make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
